Senior Pastor

Ryan Call

Pastor Ryan was born and raised in Southside Virginia. The Lord took him to Reidsville, NC, and Burlington, NC before calling him home to Ringgold in March of 2015. Pastor Ryan has served in several areas of the church including youth leader, youth director, youth pastor, associate pastor, and now as senior pastor of Lakewood Community Church.

Pastor Ryan and his wife Alicia have four wonderful children. He enjoys family time, hunting, fishing, college football, and backyard farming. His passion is to see people impacted by the gospel of Jesus Christ and experience His glorious salvation. His desire is to disciple and help each believer grow deeper in Christ and further in mission. The hope of the world is the local church.

Church Administrator

Jennifer Statzer

Jennifer Statzer has faithfully served Lakewood Community Church since November 1, 1978, when she became the church secretary. She was named Church Treasurer in January 1980. Jennifer not only serves as the office administrator, but she is also the Choir Director for the church — a faithful, committed follower of God and a very active community member.

Jennifer has spent countless hours caring for sick and elderly family members, church members, and friends in the community. She has been a Red Cross/CPR Instructor since 1982 and has served as the Red Cross Disaster Captain for Danville/Pittsylvania County since 2004. She has been Treasurer and Board Member of Ringgold Volunteer Fire & Rescue since 2005, serves as an EMT, sits on the Board of Directors for Angel Search and Rescue, and has been a member of the Pittsylvania County CERT since the early 2000s. Lakewood is blessed to have such a faithful, caring, and compassionate person in this role.
